Overview of Source and Destination Fine Grain Permission Option for Personal Data and CI Synchronizer
This document explains the default configuration of CI Synchronizer and how it does not (by default) transit or persist and Personal Data. It goes on to explain the type of personal data that might be processed by CI Synchronizer if a given customer requests mapping of a user correlation attribute between the source system and the Assigned_To (or similar) attribute in ServiceNow.
Finally, the document helps customers to assess the default access of CI Synchronizer within source and destination systems (at a table/column level) and explains options for customers to implement fine-grained controls if they decide this is needed.
